The Peace and Security Department (PSD) of the the African Union Commission (AU) always appealed to its partners to fully achieve its missions. These partners include Organizations, States, foundations or federations, that collaborate with AU to ensure the development of its activities in favour of peace and security all over Africa.

EU - European Union
Peace and security lie at the foundation of progress and sustainable development. The objective of the Joint Strategy is to cooperate in enhancing the capacity of Africa and EU to respond timely and adequately to security threats, and also to join efforts in addressing global challenge.
ICRC ICRC Partnership with the African Union
The ICRC works with the different organs of the African Union (AU) and with all its member states to draw attention to the needs of those affected by armed conflicts and other situations of violence, to promote greater recognition and wider implementation of International Humanitarian Law (IHL) throughout Africa and to raise awareness of ICRC's role and activities on the continent.
