Addis Ababa, Ethiopia – 4 June 2017: The Chairperson of the African Union (AU) Commission, Moussa Faki Mahamat firmly condemns the terror attack in central London on June 3 2017, which claimed the lives of seven people and left 48 injured. 

"I wish to extend my sincere condolences to the families who lost their loved ones and a full recovery of those injured in yet another cowardly attack of terror in the world," said Mr Faki Mahamat. 

The Chairperson also expressed the AU's steadfast rejection of all terrorist attacks and underlined the need to continue the fight the scourge of violent extremism and hate.
